Wandering: One Geek's Odyssey

{October 30, 2009}   I’m Back Bitches

I has access to the webzes!!! Admittedly, it is at a friend’s house, but you know what… I feel the happy glow of technology once again! ZOMG! I have missed this!

<sniffles of joy>

Eeeppp! I just had a thought. What if I’m too rusty to continue? What if the creative juices have dried up? What if I am just a husk of my former self and have nothing even remotely amusing to share with the uncaring masses of pixels on this screen? Fear has paramalyzed me…

Wait. Courage just kicked in. Booyah!

It is almost the greatest day of the whole wide year, so I really hope that everyone is pimpin’ out. I have seen some stellar outdoor decorations and killer pumpkins. No. Seriously. The pumpkins tried to kill me. I have the wounds to prove it. Why do the gourds want to destroy me? I mean, just because I carve their flesh with impish glee and roast their innards before their newly made eyes doesn’t really equate to a good reason to fight back. Little upstarts.

Anyway, it’s time to prepare for an awesome evening. Bring on the knives, candles, and gut scrapers! Here’s a goody-goody gumdrop for the tricker-treaters in the audience.

{October 25, 2008}   Things: 10-24-08

This is the start of a new set of posts I hope to continue. Once a week (probably on a Friday), I’ll be posting something I find cool. It might be a new website, it could be another blog, it might even just be a flash game you can play as a way to work through your hangover. Whatever it is, it is so astounding, so mind-boggling, so fantabuloso that I just have to spread the love. Sometimes it’s viral, sometimes it’s bacterial. Either way, it’s a fun time and eats away at your soul.

This weeks choice: The Whiteboard.

This is an Alaska based comic I find highly enjoyable. It is sometimes about paintball, so a little jargon may go over a few heads. However, a good chunk of the comic revolves around the lives of a handful of well done main characters. Yes, it is partly about a sport widely touted as a type of war game that corrupts young minds and creates serial killers, but you know what? There are so many geeky references, it doesn’t matter. The button below will take you to the most recent strip. If you want to start from the beginning (I highly suggest it), click here.
