I heart me some petfinder.com. Mostly because I love to window shop. See, I want a dog. Actually. That’s a lie. I want a whole freakin’ pack of dogs. Unfortunately, that requires fencing I have not yet purchased. And with a heat pump, more insulation, paint, wiring, plumbing, etc. to do, I won’t be getting a dog for some time. Until I can get one, I just look.

The hardest part about looking is wanting to take them all home. And I am a firm believer in adoption. (It comes from working for the Humane Society.) I don’t like puppy mills and I’m too back woods to want a pure breed. Not that pure bred dogs are not beyond lovely, because they are, they just aren’t my thing.
I also want a rat. ^_^
Now I just have to remember that patience is a virtue…
